Definitely worth like a 15-20 degree drop in temp. Actually in those pictures looking down the street to the tall building at the end, thats UMC. Isn't that where you said you worked?

I was there in March, just one month though. I'm at TMC for the time being.

Back home I'm pretty sure I've seen 40+ degree swings, nice sunny days, next thing you know ominous green skies are rolling in with tornadoes. Scary ****. Fortunately, southern Arizona is relatively free of natural disasters. Interestingly enough though, Pima county has the most inclement weather advisories in the U.S.

I've been through some real nasty ones in Iraq. Can't see your hand in front of your face. It's a real nightmare when you work security. Lol

Random question about Arizona. Does living out there completely screw up all of the plastic and rubber trim on a car? Found out my truck was out Phoenix, and everything is ridiculously oxidized for a 7 year old truck.

Yes. Headlights out here are almost all universally hazy yellow. It's ridiculous. So on the good side there's no rust, but on the downside, all the rubber turns to brittle, paint and plastic fades.

I'd take no rust over brittle and cracked rubber and plastic. Easier to replace gaskets and clean headlights than fix a rusted out frame Cooler summers would be nice though...

The heat out here is far more manageable than the heat back home and in the South, in my opinion. Even when it's in the 110s+ here there's no Swamp Alert to be found.

Agree with you on the rust, there's some pretty cool old vehicles still rolling around these parts

110 and dry > 100 with swamp nuts and Mosquitos.
The trucks stint out yonder screwed up the petroleum parts, and being in Galveston is rusting little ****..

I lived in mississippi for a while, I know all about that humid heat. That blows too. Windows on air conditioned buildings being so fogged up in the morning, they are opaque lol.
