Good idea to just say screw it and get some help. Hopefully a small uncomfortable procedure and you're as good as new.

If you have a good optometrist near you call him first thing in the morning. Most of the time they will tell you to come right in and they will get it out. They have better equipment for looking into your eye then a reg doc and are usually a lot cheaper then going to the ER. Believe me I have gotten plenty of crap in my eyes over the years, lol.

The eye heals fast! Thats why its important to get the foreign material out very quickly.

Most of the time you can flush your eye out with a water solution.

The bad part is... you wait too long and you'll be watching a drill bit!

Goodluck, buddy! Ill send you some mono-goggles and a face shield with a hard hat.

Hell, ill throw in some slightly used ear plugs (sparkplugs brand) as well.

That's what happened to my dad man. So make sure you get it all out. Otherwise everytime you have a conversation with someone they'll just be sitting there wondering which eye to look at.

I sent him a text message asking how his eye is doing and here is his response.

Worse they flushed out my eye it felt like a power washer, now its swollen and I can't even open it.
He also said it hurt like a SOB when they flushed it out.
Hopefully they got all the foreign matter out and it will get healed up.

I bet it hurts. I cut my cornea once and had to wear an eye patch for more than a month, here is a pic.
