Default Gov dropped gas taxes for 1 month

Gov of Ga. decicded to do away with the state gas taxes for the month of sept. Its is about 15 cents a gallon. Every bit helps. Filled up today for 3.08 a gallon. Not great, but much better than it was.

in the northern states (minnesota and such) we actually buy our oil from canada. Our oil has nothing to do with anything down south (i heard this from a reputable person who works from exxon), yet they were price gouging all the way to 3.00 a gallon up here also. He told me that the government posted a warning to stop the price gouging because there was no reason other than greed and because it was happening elsewhere. He said he is not proud of his company but he gets paid pretty nicely so he just kind of grins and bears it. He is involved in drilling exploration, so I hope he knows what he is talking about.

hey quick, consider that confirmed

http://www.autoblog.com/entry/1234000817057723/

say that canado is "the single largest exporter of crude oil to the U.S."
There must be some typo though, it says canada eports 1.5 million barrles per day to the US and that beat mexico's 1.57 and saudi arabia's 1.53? 1.5 is less than 1.57. Oh well.
