So, I guess when I go to the track, I should call it convertering up to 2400 or so before I leave the line? Really now, if we knew so much and were so technically inclined, why would we even be on here discussing all of this? Thats right, we really only know a little bit about what we are doing.

Technically, the converter does stall, but it's not a 'stall'.

At the very least this waste of time (or is it an excuse to post *****?) should be in the GM Drivetrain and Suspension Section...

Starter motor?????????
I never knew that is what started a engine. I thought it was compression, fuel and spark. I though the "starter motor" was called the "Cranking motor",
You can nit-pick anything anyone posts, but I for one really don’t judge people on what they call something, I just think, "well he can't spell good enough to type it by it's correct name ether" (or is trying to post something up fast)................
BTW, Calling an engine a motor is really the only thing that bugs me, my therapist and I are working through that.
