Agreed. I had an ingrown and he numbed it with a needle and started digging it out. The only thing that bothered me is he would twist my toe or it felt like he was and it was like he was twisting it off. Could feel it at the bone.

When I had my wreck I broke my Back at t4/t5 fractured at t11/t12, broke Right collar bone and shoulder blade and a couple of ribs.
The only one that made me tear up was the collar bone. It hurt just thinking about moving my arm and I couldn't actually move my arm unless I used my other arm to do it, and even that hurt like hell.

well this was a specialist and the nail they pulled out was 1/2" long and that was just the piece digging into my foot none of it was above the surface. it was in the shape if a pointy dagger and poking the nerves in my toe so it was pretty bad... it bled a lot and i had to nurse it for like 2 weeks after the surgery with epsom salt baths.

wow some horror stories for sure... many people go through life not knowing about others' horror stories, it brings reality to the site, big time.

I had an object get between my eye and eyelid.. it boroughed its way into my eyelid and festered there for 2 months until the cyst was visible. The eye doc had to inject my eyelid full of numb juice - the needle going through the side of my eyelid sucked *** - one of the worst pains in my life. But get this - the idiot didnt get it all out, I had to go BACK the SAME day to have it done again.

I know a guy who recently lost his eye, from another forum, he was wearing saftey glasses all day, stopped for lunch, and decided to tighten a small screw with an allen wrench - allen wrench snapped and went into his eye - how ******* random is that ****?? Tragic.

I always wear them now.
