Thumbs up Got the lil mouse finished up today :)

Nothing big, 355, Flat tops, mild cam, massaged stock heads... Got to love a chevy thats ford red.. (no thats not the motor for the car behind it)

Cool man. In my '66 truck its got just a GM Hot Cam with some slightly worked L88 'vette heads and it's a torque monster. HUGE torque curve from like 3500 up to 5500 with at least 400 lb-ft peaking close to 420 lb-ft I think. Peaked hp just shy of 400hp, but that's mainly due to only have a 670cfm Holley on it. Slap on a tried and true 750cfm and it'd be over 400hp for sure.

Nice man, until I bought my truck I spent most of my time working on sbc's (and some time working on Rats too ). What's that mill going into?

nothing wrong with old tried and true sbc. last winter i spent my time with ls motors this winter ive gotten my 355 out of my race car to find a bad ring, my last race it had so much blow by the oil blowing out ended up catchin on fire. Im also building 406 as my primary motor. Also buildin a 355 for my brother in law for his 84 chevy truck.

It is going into this 1953 oldsmobile .. This is just a pic I found on the web. Dads car is getting blasted rite now. Been off the road since 1990, he is going to redo it..
