Got bored the other night...
and decided to see what she would do. 
Third gear, 5800 RPM, 3.42 rear, and about a 2 1/2 mile straight road at 2am = about 142 MPH !!! 
Had to back out for the river bridge coming up, was trying to see If she would roll into OD but no dice. I'll have to tell Allen about that. Anyway 80 MPH seemed like slow-mo after running for about a mile at top speed. I had to look at the speedo twice to see if 80 was really that slow, so I set the cruise at 70 and crept on to the house...Zed

Mine only does like 125-130 in third. Ihave 3.73's though guess it makes a big diff.

142 In third gear..... I just dont see that with your mods..
You have a short headers, Torque converter, and PCM....
I dont see that getting you 142. . . . . Those mods are all functional for mostly downlow.....
I could be wrong...... I just dont see it... and if you did then awesome...
but how would you know you went 142 when our speedo doesnt show anything past 120
