This is a great stock transmission, with a superior shift for that everyday driving
You can do a shift kit AND servo for less than that, AND with no down time.

Is that a good price? He said it will take about 2 days to rebuild.

mybad...A rebuild will cost ~that much, yeah. I'd be very leery of an ebay trans though, I'd almost rather deal with somebody local and pay extra for a little piece of mind that I could give somebody if I had a problem with it down the road
I see 4l60e's selling in the $300-$500 range from time to time. Have you looked on Craigslist>?

I am looking all around, I do not like being in the type of hard place, with it being the hollidays and all.

Hmmm...there isn't an address on google for 4077 Silverhill rd in suitland, but there is one for 4025 Silverhill. You can do a street view and when you do it doesn't look like any trans shops are there. After googling the address it seems they are or were "Dominion Transmissions" at one time or another as well. Call them up and see if they changed their name or something. Ask for a reference, ask for 2 vendor names and contact info. Call the vendors and ask for accounts receivable and ask them if they pay their bills on time, you are looking into doing business with them. Find another trans shop in the area and call them...see what their "hate opinion" is. LOL Just take it with a grain of salt. 600 is cheap! Almost too cheap.
