OK guys I need help finding something to do. I just got out of the Marine Corp, waiting to start classes in the fall. I've been sitting at home all day for the last couple weeks(when I’m not looking for a job). I'm thinking of making furniture or cabinets or something to keep me occupied. I can't do that until me and the wife find a house though. What hobbies do you guys have that make you a little extra dough on side? I'm about to go freakin nuts here. I think I'm driving my wife crazy too.

 

I wish I had something on the side that made money.
I have a disorder that prevents me from from completing some tasks. I've been told it's called laziness

Vicious, yes i have the same problem.

 

Its dangerous to my bank account when I'm bored. My truck is prime example. What makes it worse is I don't have a job right now, so I'm not trying to spend money.

 

Maybe do some mobile services like oil changes and tire rotations?

 

start a lawn care business. or sit down, read a book, and learn how to take care of pools. all sorts of people are too lazy to do that on their own and would be more than happy to pay you to come out, test the pH, and toss some chlorine in the mix.

 

Or all around handyman stuff

 

Go around the neighborhood and start a neighborhood lawn service. for those who can't always do it you go around and tidy up their yard, mow, pull weeds, water the flowers, trim bushes etc for a small fee.

Get in good with them and on the side do some of your furniture work and see if they need you to build a deck, make patio furniture, or what nots n so forths

 

since you have plenty of time...
buy hptuners and read alot...do some tuning on your trucks and then start tuning for some cash.

 

This is exactly my problem. When I get bored, I start ordering things. Thats what sucks about work, I hate being there, but it keeps me from spending money.
