Default Goin back to HID but with questions..

I did the 6HI mod and used to have projectors, with 35W 8000k HIDs in all 6 lights, sold off the lights and projectors and im now going with these
headlights..

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...%3D1&viewitem=
ebay item#370347805613 incase the link has to be removed...

the original thought was to go with 6 6000k 35w hids this time, instead of the 8000k... i liked 8000k but they did seem a little blue for me..

but now my problem is... i found 50/55watt for the same price as 35watt..

so idk whether to go with the 55watt or the 35 watt,

and i cant choose between 4300k,5000k,6000k....so let me get some input from everyone.. and if anyone has a picture of any of those color temps. please post them up sateing what temp and what wattage.

when i was looking at those headlight housings, i noticed it said they only fit Denalis & nothing else. do they know something we don't? the only thing i can think of is it has cams for 9005 low beams, but even then, it would still need an adapter to connect to the 9006 harness.

I like the 6k's as well. They're sufficient enough without having to blind oncoming traffic. I just have them on the lo's, and still considering the hi's.

unless you run with the highs on for extended periods of time, HIDs are a bad idea. the frequent on-off switching will kill a ballast early

They dont only fit denalis, The housings are the same, pretty sure all the gmc housings are the same. That would be like saying that only the denali projectors fit denalis, you can find sierras with them all day long.

Do Denali's have different bulbs than the regular Sierra's? Maybe they mean that they were originally intended for Denali's? Nice looking lenses for sure

Same bulbs. They may not know that denali and sierra housings are the same, so they just say they fit Denali only to cover there *** in case someone buys them for a Sierra and they did not fit. Idk
