Default GO Pro's, who has them?

Looking into getting a Go Pro, just wondering who all has them and what mount accessories everyone finds useful. I plan to use it for many different things, obviously for the truck as well as others. How well do the suction mounts hold? Can you just mount them to the side of the vehicle with no concern for them falling off and killing your expensive camera?

I have a first gen and the auto mount kit which is basically the suction cup and several additional links to add in to get it pointed in the direction you want. The suction cup is very strong. Just be sure it is on a fairly flat, clean, non-porous surface. I have mounted mine on the roof and the side of the truck during track events and stayed very secure.

I have one with an extra battery pack and the suction cup mount. I love the camera and will be using it a ton when the turbo kit is done on my truck. The suction mount works really well. I was scared about the camera falling off of the truck but I've never had an issue. That mount is solid as hell

Have you seen the T-top fly off. The camera didn't come loose and the track worker goes and picks it up. Turns the camera on him self and says " what's up!" Camera fully functioning and didn't come off the T-top.

The suction cup is very strong is the point of the story(the vid is awesome too).

I was worried about the suction mount for mine but after I attached it to the side of a Cessna I was flying, I now have faith in them.

I have one that I don't use nearly as much as I thought I would when I bought it. They are really cool little devices though, worth having for sure. The suction cup mount is legit.

The wifey needed wanted something to get me for my b day so a Hero 3 black sounds good to me. Going to get a suction mount and a bike mount for now. They come with a water proof case right? I want to use it when I do another Tough Mudder next year.

I have a water proof case, and a non-waterproof case. Lots of options for these things!
