AP source: GM to sell Hummer to Chinese company

General Motors Corp. took a key step toward its downsizing on Tuesday, striking a tentative deal to sell its Hummer brand, while also revealing that it has potential buyers for its Saturn and Saab brands.
GM has a tenatative agreement to sell its rugged Hummer brand to Sichuan Tengzhong Heavy Industrial Machinery Co. of China, said a person briefed on the deal.

 

I saw this earlier as well...next the hummer will have a 2.0 DOHC 4 cylinder in it

I wounder if they sell it with the power train also? Sad week in history for GM now will be known as Government Motors from now on still GM

i need to photoshop a hummer with all the goodies...

 

so you can have stuff like this plaguing the streets even more?

 

Maybe China is going to convert them into military-spec hummers and use them when they invade us.

 

Good luck at that... Just means they are more grouped together and less ammo for us to use.
