GM is bringing El Camino back in 2010...

A Pontiac El Camino? wtf? I loved the old '69 and even some of the later models were cool too but not a pontiac front end, I agree. Well with time everything changes, perhaps the front can be modded to look/function better?

It is just a rebadged holden ute ss that GM is bringing to America but they do seem to have some good potential.

Yea i love that body style.. the 74 was a good year too, had the monte carlo grille.
I might have to get bored later and do some photoshopping with this new camino. cuz GM botched it by making it a pontiac.
They coulda just used the Camaro front clip.

that thing is pure **** ON WHEELS. Just one more **** poor dicision on GMs part. kill that program, and bring back the goddamn TransAm. It involves the same amount of effort (using an already designed platform) and design new skin for it. That will sell 10x more than the piece of garbage.

Yeah...Style.
There used to be an element of "head-turning" appeal that used to go along with a muscle car. This has all the appeal of a fat girl at a buffet.
All the points raised about practicality are true. Its practical, useful, and more than likely, with a 6L, a blast to drive...but so is a tubbed out Vega with a BBC in it, but those aren't that common...remember the fat girl at the buffet.
You see more people racing 3800lb Chevelles than 2500lb gutted Vegas simply because they are nice to look at.
I don't mean to get all amped up over this, but I think it looks like
