Default Glock For Sale

PSH. You thought I was selling something in the wrong section.

I'm looking to sale my G37 and later on get a double action acp. My question is for you guys that have sold a gun online before. What kinda procedures and arrangements must be made to ensure the gun gets to someone with a clean record?
I realize shipping to the nearest dealer is usually preferred but do you call the dealer and arrange it or how's that work?

Get in touch with a local FFL dealer and they will contact one local to whoever buys the gun.

yea never ship directly to someone without a FFL(Federal Firearms license). Ship to their local FFL holder(that you can confirm exists).

Just my opinion, but a truck web forum probably isn't the best place to list a gun for sale. If you don't go through the process correctly... you could go to jail for a little while. Contact a FFL.

ask the question on seatstaysup.com in the guns section, lots of knowledgeable guys there. ***laws vary by state***, I know my state's laws but I don't know your's so I won't even try to give advice to the subject.

Yea I'm asking so I don't break any laws and you never want to send directly to some one because even if they are legit, they may not register it in their name. Then you might end up with a gun out there in your name with bodies on it. Wanted to get some input on how to make SURE it goes through the proper channels.
I just didn't want to miss anything.

Truck forum or not, even truck owners own other things. That's what the miscellaneous section is for. But regardless I'll most likely post it up on a gun forum some where. And i forgot about the gun section at Seat Stays Up. I've browsed through there a few times.
I'm also considering taking it to a local place and trading it but we'll see.

Thanks for the input fellas.

State law does not matter. It is a federal law use a FFL dealer to ship and receive gun and you are good as far as the law goes.
