I've gotten a flask and a personalized (with my initials) beer glass as my favorites so far.

I'd say go with a flask that's also personalized. I was at a wedding and saw that's what the groomsmen got... I didn't know the groom all that well but decided then and there that if I was in a wedding party that's what I'd want.

My buddy gave us sleeves of Titleist Pro V1s. I thought that was a pretty good gift, but they'd have to be golfers.
