I've known my friend Roberta since I was about 3 or 4. She's 26 with 3 kids, and she recently noticed something was wrong with her middle child, 1 and a half year old Corbin. Friday she and her husband Shane found out that he's got a malignant tumor on his kidney. So the little guy has to go for surgery to remove the kidney Wednesday. The family is obviously worried as all hell, so if you guys could remember them in your thoughts and prayers I'm sure they'd appreciate it a lot. Thanks.

 

Wow, it's hard to imagine how much stress that can cause to a parent. Having survived kidney cancer and having one of them removed I can tell you that modern medicne has come quite a ways with cancer treatment. The surgery is harsh but heal's quick and of course my prayers go to the child and his family for a complete and speedy recovery.
