I pulled a Richard, but I didn't mean to do it I've been chasing down an exhaust leak for like the past week and I thought it might be a bad seal between the crossover pipe and the log manifold, so I pulled it off, reapplied some RTV and put it back on. But I forgot to reconnect the wastegate in my hurry to finish... Luckily I've been driving around on my MAF tune trying to diagnose a misfire problem, and its not tuned for the 2nd fuel pump so it goes way rich. Figured I'd roll into it to feel some boost again since I haven't romped on it much since I replaced the coils. I was wondering why it felt stronger.

It maxed out the 2 bar MAP sensor before the WG pulled boost back at around 17psi. Zero knocking throughout the whole pull. Definitely dumb luck!

Lol not quite, that's absolute pressure. Barometric here is like 13ish, so it pegged the MAP and then held steady around 17.

Its got me tempted to dyno tune for 16-17... I keep telling myself I'm done modding this truck but this engine seems to have no problem with more boost lol
