Default FML Another decision, not as important lol

well some of you guys know that i ordered a 2011 Camaro 1SS RS 6 speed manual a month or so ago, sticker price is 40,000 cdn, I was getting it for about 38,000. So all was fine and dandy untill last night when I stumbled upon a 2003 Silverado Duramax Diesel, crew cab short bed, 4x4, fully loaded, upgraded injectors, 6"rcx lift, 20" rockstars, 35s, 200k on her, 15,500 obo. I know these are apples and oranges in comparision. But I planned to go all out with my current truck no matter what i get, but with the diesel I could the silverado to the track and back if and when i brake stuff lol not to mention i would be saving about 25,000 bucks by getting the diesel and I could dd the diesel all year where as the Camaro i could not. Im leaning towards the diesel. thoughts and opinions?

Duramax. Drive it all year, pull your current truck around with it (and anyone else for that matter! lol) and still look good doing it. Just my .02.

Duramax, few mods and its a pretty fast truck, reliable, good mileage compared to similar equipped gas truck, and you can take advantage of it all year around

The Dmax sounds a little over priced

Are you serious? For everything that is done to it? It does sound like a good deal to me.

Zack, you know my opinion all ready.

It'd be silly to have two race vehicles and not have a dd, or a tow vehicle, (or both in the dmax case)

As far as new camaros, I'd wait it out until they get used to their new body style and work out all the bugs of not producing for 8 odd years, and stick with the diesel

also this:

Make the blue Silvy your tow rig, make the new Camaro your track car. Then go all out on the Camaro.
