so my fraternity is having a rush event tomorrow night, and i was in charge of putting the bands together. well, our lead act cancelled at the last minute, and i have a two hour spot to fill. great. well, a lil background on me, i sing at local bars with a buddy who plays acoustic. never done a real gig before. long story short, im gonna be singing tomorrow night in front of more than half the damn school. great. im nervous as ****...... here's my set list.

That is quite a diverse arrangment of songs, Eric Burdon being one of my most favorite song writer/singers that song holds special meaning for me...Throwing Copper was a huge epiphany. Good luck, if you can sing that wide of a range you'll be set

 

thanks. yeah, i have a fairly wide range with my voice. i mainly like to do eddie vedder, chris cornel, linkin park and **** like that, but can also be fairly soft. i'd like to start a real cover band, and if this goes well, who knows

 

oh, and keep in mind, im only 20, so theres a couple songs on there, most of these kids will have never heard, so if i change them, they wont know. mainly house of the rising sun!

 

Sounds like you're gonna have to have a wide range to sing that selection. Give it Hell man; you'll do fine
