no, i still suck. i need to take some classes and learn how to use it right.

many of my welds i just lay down a quick bead with the mig and then burn it in with the tig to make it look better. it works ok but often the mig leaves a splatter or two.

i need to finish off the garage and then learn how to be better at this stuff.

Hey Jim,

Quick questions about the hot parts...
Regarding the entry angle of the passenger side header into the hot pipe, is that a predetermined angle or was it determined by the direction of the bend in that header? From what I understand the flow is static in log style manifold so the entry angle doesn't much matter but wondered if it is such an issue when building header style manifolds.

Wastegate bypass re-entry is at a 90 degree angle?.

Great work, very clean and well thought out...any updates?

i dont worry too much about making things perfect for "flow" just build what fits and is easy to build. car is running well. no turbo issues at all. he is running full exhaust thru a muffler so it is nice and quiet. i think he is up to 7-8psi and runing high 7's in the 1/8th and that is with 2.1 60's. seems like he isn't doing too bad considering old school small block, poor 60', full exhaust and pump gas.

he did say his boost falls off up top a little. that full exhaust is probably hurting him bad.

here are a few more pics >> http://neufamily.org/images/dongg/ i didn't make that charge pipe between the inter cooler and tb.

Cool thanks man! Wasn't doubting you or the parts at all if that's what it seemed like, just wanted to get an idea of how you designed it! I'm very positive that it performs very well!!

I'm gonna be building my own here in a little while and just wanted to get some feedback from people who've gone down this road!
