if range per charge is a major drawback of an EV, why would the engineers put a brick front end on them?
pedestrian safety, actually

INteresting. How does a bricked front end protect pedestrians? I'm not suggesting to put a shoveled nose on it, but something a little more aerodynamic to help with range.

Its supposed to hit them above the knee, not below it. Less broken legs, and it slows them down so they large soft hood and windshield can absorb that energy instead of throwing the person to the ground or over the car where they hit much harder surfaces

Better looking cars, better range and splattered idiots gets my vote How far do we bend to protect tide pod eaters? If you see a car, get the F out of the way. Look both directions before crossing a street...We're keeping too many morons alive today haha.

Part of the reason I love my MR2 and C5 so much, and want to keep them around. From an era long forgotten of low nose, curvy, sexy cars

The design of these vehicles is very smart by this company. The front half the vehicle is the same on all 3, so that cuts way down on costs.

I think they all look good. I like the truck and silver car the best.

Good looking little truck, just needs a 5.3 LS engine in it. At least non of these cars looks like they appeal to the Prius nerd crowd.

call the prius guys what you want, but they are driving a sub 30k car that gets estimated 58/53 mileage with unlimited range...Not to mention Toyota quality. How long do you think a $45k GM EV is going to last? They cant even produce a gas or hybrid passenger car to compete with any japanese brand.

I think an EV has a place in the market, but it's not for the masses. If I lived in Hawaii I would rock the hell out of a EV. Hybrid technology seems to be better for the masses whether it's from petrol or hydrogen.

You're right, but it's all about individual taste. Hell, a while back a Dodge Neon SRT4 was a pocket rocket on a budget price, but you're still driving a Dodge Neon. Like they say in the car biz, there's an *** for every seat.

There's a lot of things I can and will say about the Prius crowd

But most importantly I'll say; I'll never own one

That Ace Performance coupe tho, that thing just might be a contender in my line up. Its not that fast, but its way faster than my C5
