My worst nightmare came true (last year I was taking the trash to the dumpster and watched a bitch crash her car right into another parked car and just drove off
) Some *** in our parking lot managed to crash into my bumper, and not leave a ******* note
Does whoever did this really think I will not find out. There is blue paint and broken turn light glass all over the ground. ****. ***. There's the same cars parked in our lot every night so it wont be long tonight before i go out there looking for the car that did it. How much do you estimate it would be to fix this? I dont know to go thru insurance or not. I've really been wanting to swap to the Denali front end so maybe this is the chance

This is a long shot but the lens that is broken on the ground might have some ID marks on it. Most manufactures have some sort of part numbers on them. These numbers might ID what type and make of the vehicle you are looking for. You obviously have the color part already. Just a thought. Vince

I know the feeling bro.Sucks... It has happened to me 3 times HIT and RUN... If I would evr find out who it is there would be a BIG misunderstanding... At least it is a bumper and pad, an not body damage...

As crazy as it sounds, most descent body shops are going to want $1000 or more to do that. The bumper is about $300, the cover around $200, and then paint/prep/installation. Parts prices are body shop prices.
Somebody shop around here, wont do it without replacing the airbag sensors and resetting the computer. Liability if it is messed up and deploys for no reason. Considering that, you could easily add another $500 to that above price.
Go to a local body shop and get a full written estimate. Tell them you don't want it turned into the insurance.
The insurance company might cut you a check for enough to buy all the denali stuff yourself and put it together.

that sucks about the air bag stuff, I completely forgot about that.
Also, I've gone out to the lot several times and I had an idea what car did it, but I haven't seen it in the lot. If I had to guess they aren't coming back until they fix their car so they can deny hitting mine. Is it possible that any of the metal mounting point for the bumper were bent? That's really all I'm worried about. If you look closely at the last picture you can see that the whole bumper was shifted to the left.
