FedEx

Well this goes for UPS as well, I tell you these two shippers are always pulling some bonehead moves.
So I ordered my Corsa, it gets shipped the next day in two separate packages on the same day. I'm watching the tracking status and its suppose to be delievered today.
I see the two packages getting checked in at different locations.....each are on a different truck.
Ok WTF, why if the guy dropped off the two packages at the same time, going to the same destination would FedEx put them on separate trucks!!!
So anyways, I see one package gets delivered and left by the door. This is all on their website. Of course the other package still shows to be getting delivered (figures). I get done with work and find one package, so I check online and now it shows "Delievery Exception, Customer not available or business closed"
So why the hell would they drop off one package but not the other.
I call FedEx and they say that I need to sign for it.
I told FedEx multiple times that I gave them authorization to drop it off w/out a signature. UPS seems to have no problem doing this.
So I say fine, I'll just pick it up at their locations. Guy on the phone says "I'm sorry but this is a ground package and our locations do have a service center that you can pickup ground packages at"

Now I have to have them change the address to my parents house because I'm working every dam day they want to delivery it.
Now I just get to sit here and wait till tomorrow and look at my nice shiny muffler.

damn that sucks, they left mine at the front door, which is odd.... usually they will leave packages at my back door (garden home, they just go thru the gate and leave it outside my bedroom door on the back porch).... either way it didn't bother me, I live on a dead end street so no one is going to mess with it.
Just a hint for the install:
I used a large floor jack to lift the rear of my truck via the trailer draw bar (this lets the axle stay down) and had to use a trolley jack under the frame in the front for extra clearance (2wd) but was able to get the entire catback off in one piece. also getting the nuts on the cat-back flange warm by driving and a quick shot of PB Blaster made them come off with ease. I had a small cross brace on the frame that I removed a bolt from and swung out of the way (remember, this is a 2wd, you may be different). It took a 15mm socket, rachet and 13mm wrench to remove everything and reassemble. a pair of channel lock (adjustable pliers) comes in handy to help persuade the rubber exaust mounts to let go

Yeah I know, they left mine sitting in front of my house right in front of the street. I mean a big *** box that says "CORSA PERFORMANCE" in huge letters. You can see that a mile away. I even have a sign on my front door that says to use the rear door. Seriously it would have taken the guys 20 steps to go to the back and put it on the rear porch.
Mine exhaust I have now will be a piece of cake to take off. All I have to do is unbolt the catback portion and drop it since all it consists of is the pipe, muffler and two turn down pipes.

lol, that pisses me off...
fedup sent me two drag tires on two different days.. i was in a rush to mount them on my wheels for the weekend and couldnt do it bc i received them on two diff. days.
also, they were not in boxes, they were just a loose tire with plastic wrap around them... go figure
