Because they apparently don't care, the owner of this site is Internet Brands. They basically own majority of all forums, I am guessing in their experience they know whats worth pursuing and what isn't. Facebook is kinda its own entity, now creating another knock off site with a similar name is different. There really isn't anything stopping you from creating a Facebook page of your choosing and calling it whatever you want.
