Just filled up the truck at $3.40 for super. Ouch

 

High gas prices make me appreciate my job even more... they buy my gas. But yes, the price is going through the roof here so I will be riding my motorcycle this summer to be good about it. However, on Friday and Saturday nights the 12mpg beast will roll!

 

It's gonna get worse so get used to it.Might as well bend over and grab your ankles

I work in the oilfield & drilling is booming out in west Texas. I feel the big guys or wanting to drill in the gulf & our government is not letting it happen, so they raise the prices & in return the government will turn & say let's drill. We storage so much oil & gas that when the time comes the other countries will have to buy from us making our country rich again.. Oil & ***** rules the world. Just my .02 we don't want peace in the middle east, we just want to control their oil.. They set all them wells on fire because they new we'd come a running.

 

Im glad some people "get it" as far as how the oil industry works. Im so very thankful I have a company truck to commute back and forth and run most of my errands. If I didnt Id be screwed.

 

I have had the luxury of watching this one get built for the last 2 years. We still have a little ways to go.

 

$3.51 for Premium down here in South Texas.........It's a joke, $25 for 1/4 tank is what I got!

 

$20 to fill my Harley. I'm afraid we WILL see a $5+/gal this summer. Stupid Tacoma 4-cyl only gets me 17mpg in city but that's 7 more than the GMC.

 

I pay 3.79 for 91 here in Southern California.

Trever what year Tacoma did you have again? 5spd?

I have a 2001 reg cab 5spd Tacoma I daily and get a solid 23mpg 70hwy/30city. I'm looking into getting a newer reg cab, but not if the mpg is worse.
