Default Excursion or Suburban HD?

Thinking about selling my Sierra for an Excursion or a Suburban HD. Anybody have an opinion on whic is better? And as for the Excursion the v10 vs a Disel?

I'm looking for something i can take a few people and alot of stuff in, plus pull an 18ft open car trailer with a 3000# truck on it.

Only problem I have with the Suburban HDs is they never put the Allison in them (I think)... that to me is a perfect towing trans... not that I am knocking the 4L80E, Id just prefer the Allison when it comes to towing. That being said, id still take the Burban HD or wait till the new ones come out wit the Dirtymax's

Excursion, diesel is worth it when you get into that heavy of a vehicle. I have a family friend who is die hard chevy move over to one. He tows his boat all over the west coast just hatted not having a diesel. I drove his last 8.1 suburban and his new excursion. I agreed with his move over, lots more room in the Excursion.
