I read through that thread, a lot of good info but I still don't have a clue which one is the best since there seems to be a lot of opinion. Right now I think I'd get this one

I kinda want to make my own flashlight now. Something that will throw really far.

1slow01z71, that seems a little high for that light. Check this out.

UltraFire WF-900L SSC P7-C 3-Mode 900-Lumen LED Flashlight (2*18650) - Free Shipping - DealExtreme

I have a P7 light like that one. There are also xml t6 lights on there that is the same bulb as the tk35. The xml supposedly throws father than the p7. I just ordered a couple xml's for a little project.

I have been thinking of a thrower too. Maybe something like an sst-90

Ultrafire isn't the best quality light from what I've seen. I want a catapult v3 lol. Expensive as **** though

Yeah I dont think I could bring myself to spend 400 on a light, 150 is pushing it.
