I had paid in advance for a two year subsciption to download music and the website went under after a few months. I was out what I paid for the two years, so I went to Limewire for free downloads. I havent used it in a while, since it infected me a few months back, but I got a bunch of music off of it.

I honsetly would rather support the artist. I used to download for free, but IMO too much money is skipped for too many artists.

LOL. Thats what I was thinking. They do get free vehicles from producers and managers as sign on gifts occassionally, but they are paying for it one way or another. Purchased CDs sound better anyway, but downloading is easy and you can get stuff you cant find in stores.

maybe if they didnt charge so freaking much for a single CD......i refuse to pay 15 bucks for a CD. So i have friends download it for me now or use their Itunes.

If i have one made with 20 songs i like, basically i would have to buy 20 cd's to get those same songs.

I am guilty of watching movies online. I'm doing it right now. But I do still go to the movies if there's one I really want to see. Transformers was one that i HAD to go see.
I also still rent and make copies. The ones that I feel are Collection worthy I buy.
I've purchased about 100 movies over the past 3 years. and still buy on a regular basis. Just picked up Hell Boy 2 the other day.

I love how easy and cheap it is to download, but I respect the work and time it takes to create the stuff.
