The graveyards are full of people who would swap places with you in a second.

Man i been in a situation like that. But in tough times you gotta get creative. When I was laid off for 4 months and still had the bills coming in i started collecting scrap metal/alum cans and cashing it in, along with mowing lawns that ive had for a few years. Youd be surprised how much money you can make by doing that. Nice thing about scrap metal is its cash and tax free. Little stuff like that can get you by. Just an idea...

I know where you're coming from. I work at a lincoln dealership and i absolutely hate it. I thought working on cars for a living would be great, but now i hate it. Guess it was better as a hobby huh? Im now trying to figure out what i want to do with my life, since this didn't go as planned. I also do alot of drinking to cope with my shitty job, but hey, there's a light at the end of the tunnel eventually, right?

Lots of us have been in shitty times, it sucks but it is just the way it is. Like some of the guys have been saying, there are people out there that would gladly swap places with you. You just have to sit back and say, man this sucks but it could be A LOT worse. Find something that makes you happy. I love to hunt, and nothing in the world really gets to me during duck season. If you can find something like that to get your mind off of everything, you are in the clear. Just know that you can always vent to your favorite truck forum. lol

Ive got a 24 year old buddy thats paralyzed from the neck down. If you think your life sucks and you wanna swap spots with him Im sure he'd be more than happy to be able to get out of bed on his own in the morning. Or to feed himself. Or be able to **** in a toilet instead of through a tube. Moral of the story...be happy youre able to get up every morning and do whatever it is you do. It doesnt make a **** if you make half a million dollars a year or if you havent worked in 3 years. You're physically able and thats something to be thankful for. If you live through the day and have the chance to wake up the next morning and do it again, be greatful, some folks didnt get that chance. Everybody goes through hard times man, its what you make of it that matters.
