I hate to suggest this , but have you talked to a layer yet?????!!!!!!!
They are mostly slime, but they can get you what you want.
A phone call alone to the dealer from a layer may be just enough to make them pay.

They traded him an 05 gto that was on the lot staright up and he got to take the turbo off and ect. Sold that old stuff and modded the gto with that money....at least that is what it looks like.

Holy crap.. I just found this in a search as well. This is Effing insane.. BUMPING as a reminder to retune your vehicle to low rev limit so this don't happen to you.

I remember this thread. I took my truck in for warranty work on replacing the evaporator core and I figured they had no need to go faster than 60 mph and 4000 rpm.

no kidding, i never do it myself, but maybe i should start. Then again, it is kinda fun yelling at these morons whenever i catch them.

I took mine to the body shop to have the cowl hood painted, and gave them 2500 RPM and 25 mph to play with, lol.

WOW just got through reading this hole thread and thats some f*&ked up SH*t... kinda like when my DS blew out and took it to get replaced under warranty and they told me the tranny was fine I knew it had it tranny fluid was everywhere when the DS blew a couple weeks later it blows... I will from now on set my rev limiter where ever I take it even to the stereo shop...
