I'm not into flashlights, but I was always interested in buying this little one: http://www.countycomm.com/aaa.html. That thing has some ridiculous luminosity for the size.

I have a Dorcy that I like a lot.

What do you mean by mod your Maglite? I have one of those too that I wouldn't mind making nicer/brighter, if the cost isn't too high lol.

im talkin about converting to a P7 led with a 6 mode driver with some 18650 li-ion batteries, using a glass lense. The cost will be around $100. There are some drop in led's u can get but not near as bright.

Also there are some people converting to a triple P7, its one hell of a flood light!!!!!!

The maglites are very popular to mod since they have alot of room!!

I own a lot of flashlights, I'm a fan of always being able to see I have them all over the house, in case the lights go out, I don't have to reach very far to find one The ex wife used to make fun of me for it, but when the power went out at 10 pm one night, she was very happy that I was so well prepared I haven't modded any though, just done the LED upgrade to my 4-D mag and mini-mag lights like Bill did. Oh yea, I've gotten my 4 year old daughter into flashlights too, she actually owns a couple which she keeps in her bedroom and in the back seat of my Blazer
