a day with my wife at walmart.
we went shopping to load up on food today a walmart.
while we were in the garden center looking over out door crap.
this hispanic kid, around 13, 14 years old, bolts through gate setting
off the alarm.
security and a few employees follow in hot pursuit.
with no one around.
a pickup truck with tail gate down backs up to the gate,
2 hispanic males load 4 52 inch flat screen TV's in the back,
jump in the truck and shoot around to the back and out on to the street.
half way across the parking lot, the kid tosses what he had to set off the alarm,jumps in the back of a truck and fly's out across the road in to home depots parking lot and on to the road and gone.
the manager of walmart offered us each 50 dollar gift cards if we would
take the time and tell the cops everything we had seen.
the total of the theft was around $6800.00.
while we were in customer service giving our statements to the cops.
this couple came in with a large vizio 52 inch flat screen the same kind that was stolen, they said it had no picture, it had sound but no matter how they hooked up it had no picture at all.
instead of a refund they asked to replace it.
the girl put an orange sticker on the box and told them to go and get another one.
after a few minutes they showed up, did some paper work and out the door they went with a new TV.
after some time went by and a lot of people taken care of, they opened the box to check it out to see if everything was in the box.
to our surprise these lady's pulled out a sheet of inch and a quarter ply wood with a one by four wrapped around the edge on both sides so it could fit in the holders inside the box.
this was my day at walmart with my wife.

what got us was that they did this while the cops were taking
statments from us.
talk about ***** that clank when you walk.
