that is my dads work truck only way to work, but is still driveable

the trailer weighs 6-7k lbs. and has a was of pushing you, ALOT

i hit a little 94 maxima sitting at a dead stop in the middle of the highway, I was doin about 40-30 mph ( hard on my brakes) because an expedition was slowing down hard between us and then at the last second swerved to the right an i had nowhere to go. the maxima will need a new body from the back of the rear doors back, i tore off her registration sticker on here tags too when i hit here. the bottom of my bumper hit the very top of their bumper

BTW she is my neighbor

my dads insurance card was out of date but fortunately the sherriffs dept. didnt catch it.

it kinda acted like that tundra in the commercials but about 10 feet from the bottom of the ramp there is a car there, the car rolled probably 20feet or better after i hit it

at least my dad was riding with my and i dont have to try to explain it to him

makes me want a HD, because if i was in my truck id need a new front clip at minimum

naw he was sittin right there and he knows there's nothin i could do. while it was happenin though he kept on yellin, " get on ya brakes!, get on ya brakes!, get on 'em!"

then after it happened he said he knew it would have happened that way whether me or him had been driving.

we are lucky the cops didnt ask either one of us for CDLs, we have commercial truck tags and commercial insurance for pulling a coimmercial trialer but no commercial licenses

now when my stepmom finds out i was driving there will be a shitstorm for 3-4 days, seein how his insurance supposedly wont cover me driving his truck because im under 21 ( according to her), we'll see later this week but he has a $1000 decuctible and i personally dont think it will cost that much. only thing to be replaced is bumper, cap, valence, bumper brackets, corner lenses, and maybe a grille shell

she wasnt "parked". this is a 2-lane highway, with enough paved shoulder on both sides to be lanes, there is a road that turns off the highway, and a 350z had stopped completely and waiting for traffic to clear to turn across the highway to turn off. and the maxima was behind her and then was the expedition and then me. the maxima hadnt taken off yet, and the expedition didnt brake soon/hard enough to stop in time so she jerks off the road on the shoulder at the last minute and passes the inevitable crash on to me

one good thing is no one was hurt

You could buy all you need on ebay tonight, probably for under $200. doesn't look that bad. are the frame snouts squashed in?

i dont know what im lookin for there, but his tow hooks that are mounted to the frame are still in stock location so im pretty sure the frame didnt get tweaked.

i have full coverage on my truck and my dad has full coverage on his truck and i still live at home and we have our insurance at the same company(state farm) so they will pay from one of our policies

as you can tell in the pics, bumper brackets are shot, but other than that its not that bad

i could probably put in the corner lights, grille shell, and valence and maybe the bumper cap, but not sure how it mounts?

im guessing the frame snouts are what the bumper mounts too?
