Cursing at the computer for the past 2 1/2 hours!

...down at my mom's with my 3 1/2 year old daughter for the weekend...got here around 10, put Rosie to bed, and proceeded to open up my laptop when my mom tells me that she doesn't have her wireless working right yet, she thinks that she doesn't have it wired up right. I check it out, and it's idiot proof, everything's color coded, but it still won't work. Anyway, first we call her internet provider, and after three separate calls with automated crap that's useless we finally get in touch with a human to verify that we're not stupid and it is hooked up right.
I get the installer disc to work on her laptop and proceed to get my laptop working on the system. Unplug the ethernet cable from hers and no-go, windows couldn't find any wireless networks...the damn router is a frickin foot away! Call comcast back, more automated crap...the voice commands don't seem to recognize "your ******* service sucks ***!"...finally get another human. Not Comcast's problem, Dell's issue.
Go to Dell's website...waste of time, call Dell, get charged 50 bucks by Dell, they re-install some driver and viola! we're finally up and running.
All this just so I can get on this site and hang out with you good folks

I think that is like my biggest peeve, trying to find a person on the other end. It seems to me that the computer answering services are getting better and better at pissing me off

Dell customer srvc. stinks. Why do they have get get more $ from you? Isn't it supposed to work in the 1st place w/o spending an addt'l $50?
Let alone be connected to someone in this country.

Look again. I think u quoted me wrong, & threw an extra letter in. Tried to make me look bad cause you're gonna be hangin out w/. Mrs. Michigan tonight. If you've never heard that before, hold up your hand, I'll let u figure out the rest.
