Well the impacts in those combo deals are usually very weak ones.
I have never found a good use for and air wrench. I have one that I try to use every once in a while but they are bulky and the air hose is always in the way for where I want to stick the wrench. Then I end up getting it stuck some how.
I have used my air hammer a few times for varies things.
I have this aircat impact (LINKY) I think it's great for the price. It's nice and small and has plenty of power for what I need. They have a more powerful one, but it costs more too.
I also have an angle die grinder that I use a lot for cutting things and cleaning things with the 3m pad attachment.
I have a 3/8" butterfly impact that is fun too. I don't think many people use these but they are great for whipping bolts on and off. Not real powerful but real fast.
I would check Harbor Freight for cheap air tools. Their stuff is decent and they have weekly sales on various items so you can get decent tools relatively cheap.

air ratchet is one of my favorite tools haha. i use torque wrenches to tighten bolts most of the time...impacts just make it snug up faster. i have no real use for a air hammer but it comes in the kit haha. never used an air grinder...only electric grinders which do plenty for anything i need...and you dont have to pack a compressor around to use it haha.

Here is the type of air grinder (angle die grinder) I'm talking about... It's great for cleaning old gasket material off of things with the abrasive pads.
I think I just use my butterfly impact instead of the air ratchet in places where there is room. It's much faster...
