Damn you guys are getting serious over this.... Does anyone even know what started the whole event? Was the dude just mad because he ordered his western star burger with no pickles and kinda blew up or was he a real criminal trying to commit a crime? The weapon has changed throughout this debate a few times. I couldn't see what the guy did but it looked to me like the taser was to the face. Damn right I'd pull it off if I could. I didn't think that was the most effective area to shoot a guy with a taser. I may be wrong. I couldn't see it well with the rain drops on the window. But I still dont see a reason to shoot the guy. Maybe a toxicology report will prove that he wasnt drugged up. Maybe it's like his first run in with "the LAW". Kinda seems like all of a sudden cops don't have to live by " the LAW".

^^^^^^You are the worst hypocrite! You would have ran across the parking lot to shoot him Haha
Yea maybe but it's the last. When he charged the officer he deserved to be shot. Definitely excessive but the guy deserved to dropped, killed no but he should have thought of that before charging a cop with a gun.

Just to clarify over my statement cause I think a few miss understood it....

First and foremost I didn't vote for Obama and never want to be associated as someone who did..

I said it in my first post and still agree that the guy deserved what he got 110% and could care less how many shots it took the cops to end the threat. If they were happy with 1 thats cool. If he wanted to load another clip and empty that into him I would have supported it to the end. He threatened his partners life and the cop did exactly as any officer should have done.

I agree 100% with your statement that proper fire arm safety and classes should be mandatory for anyone purchasing a firearm. The more informed and responsible people are with guns the better it is for everyone.

My previous statement was not pointing fingers at anyone here or saying everyone would react that way but there is plenty of stories and truth behind what I said which is why I said it concerned me, hence why I agree that gun safety and training should be heightened to anyone that want's to purchase one.

He had a large metal object with a point at the end. No one knows exactly what it is but I know it's not covered in foam and going to tickle if he hits me with it. He lunged towards the officer in a striking gesture. His partner did the right move and dropped him. If you are going to threaten the life of an officer, or anyone with a gun drawn at you then I think you should fully expect to get shot and like any good gun safety course will tel you "don't point the gun at anything unless you intend to kill it."

It says in the news article for it that the guy was breaking windows on the store with the object he had. Then he went in and did something. Cops showed up while he was inside. He walked out, ignored commands given by officers, tazer didn't work, he turned around in an aggressive motion (whether or nor he swung is irrelevant, you can read his body language it was an aggressive motion), so the cops took him down. First couple shots didn't put him to the ground, and I'm sure at this point the cop wasn't sure if the guy was wearing body armor under that clothing, or if he was on drugs and couldn't feel the shots, so he continued to fire until the guy was on the ground and no longer a threat.

Im not trying to act like "billy bad ***" thank you very much. Im supporting what the cop did 1000% because it was right. And anyone who thinks other wise is a ******* fool. In this country (most states) we have the God given right to defend our well being and our family to any means necessary. I dont give a **** about your training, personally. Because I technically dont have any "FORMAL" training as far as on paper. I can assure you I am by far one of the safest people around firearms and can hang with the best of em. You can have all the training in the world and be an idiot.

Dont mistake this for an "attack" at you because an E-thug is the biggest wad of BS there is. I will back 100% of anything I say, always.
-Like I stated before. If you think this cop is wrong in what he did, you are a genuine fool and I would like to see anyone else handle it any better than these fine Police officers did.
