My brothers lease is up next week and he will sell the car to me at cost which is 10,300 canadian, Id really like a DD thats good on gas and I could have the car paid off within a year, insurance for that and my truck would only be 160 a month plus about 250 for a monthly payment on the car, should I jump on it?

 

yeah. IF you can afford it. little mods can make some good HP numbers in that little car

 

dont buy it if you think you are going to have a fast car for cheap......they are not that quick. for that money I would go buy a clean LT1 Z28...good mileage and good power, cam it and you have a damn good runnin car for the money

 

Not so ridiculously QUICK, but my buddy's got one as a DD, and the little bitch will do 160 mph if you've got room. The braking made me wanna barf. Front wheel drive is good in snow too, for us Canucks.

 

I wouldnt spend 10 grand on one of those..........

side note: i thought the cobalt ss, hhr ss, and all the other little ss cars had turbo's instead of s/c???

 

some of the early cobalt ss came with super's the new ones are turbo...

 

all the cobalt ss had superchargers up to 2008, all 2009 models are turbo, all hrr ss models are turbo, they came out in 2008
