Kentucky boy. Mayfield, in the western part of the state. It is sometimes easy to poke fun at some of the natives as it is everywhere I'm sure. Great song, well sung and played. I think he'll go a long way in the competition. A lot of country stars have made millions with the backwood country twang.

Everyone but the elite loves a salt of the earth guy. The guy had me reeled in, a touching performance.

 

I can't say I've seen emotions change so fast its funny how some people can be under estimated.I enjoyed it gl to the country boy!

 

that accent was ******* STRONG. But as soon as he started the song it was seemingly tucked away.

 

sounds fine to me but idk most country singers have accents but accents most of the time do not translate into music. u cant tell keith urban is Australian til he quits singing and starts talking. i wouldnt say he was great and who knows what his vocal range is but he played to his strengths well.
