you can find a higher milage f body , but dont plan on 30 mpg unless you keep it under 2k rpms on the freeway. my camaro is a blast to drive but isnt the best on gas. i get about 22 mpg on the way to work everyday.

may want to check on some vw's but when you get into german working on them isnt much fun.nor is it cheap.

my first thought was a 99-02 rcsb silvy w/ 4.8 and add efans, intake, mpg tune and maybe lts and exhaust, could get 20+mpg and you know what you are working with, but might be a problem resisting to mod.

btw beastmode picked up one for under $6k and i bought mine for $7k even.both with 150k miles

Late 90's Subaru Impreza RS 2.5 (if you can find one) They have a cool factor, stick, AWD, loaded w/ all options, and you can get 25-30 mpg with it.

I would also have to say a Jetta TDI. My sister has one, it's a 02 and they are a nice, Comfortable, soild car that gets 40 to 50 MPG.

Ok kool,
I'm gonna look into 90's Subaru Impreza RS 2.5's and Jetta TDI's. Hopefully I can find something with a relatively fair price.
