Agreed.... Dorian can do one set and grow because of the high levels of steriods he took. Heck, he could've probably slept and still grew!!!
Eating is the most important part. You can skimp on the training, and still be okay, to an extent, but if you're eating bad, it'll show.
If you want to make changes in your body, then you gotta make changes in your life, and it starts with eating...
How many calories you eat isn't as important as what's in those calories. Eat lots of protein, fresh fruit and veggies and good carbs. Take vitamins, take protein supplements, they do help, especially if you don't like to eat alot or make tons of meals.
To do things right, you'll spend more time preparing meals, than working out.

So I read this last week and took some of it in.
Let me say this. It's hard as hell to consume 130+ g's of protein in a day!
I have to eat way more than I have been just to get to 90-100 for the day.
Anyone have recommendations for food besides Fish? I like fish but get sick of it pretty quick.

Try protein drinks. Very good way to up your protein intake without all of the eating.
I just started taking EVO PRO, which is pretty good. It's not only got protein, but glutamine, which is also important. Two servings a day would be about 50 grams of protein.
My daily diet looks like this...
breakfast
4 egg whites and 2 whole eggs
whole wheat toast
raisains or apple
Snack-
can of tuna or protein drink or sandwich
granola bar
Lunch-
chicken breast
sweet potato
veggie or some kind, usually brocoli
Pre-workout-
Power Bar Energy Bar
Post Work-out
High Protein meal, fish chicken or steak or maybe lean burgers
pasta
veggie
bedtime 'snack'
protein drink
Sometimes I mix things up and have a shake post workout.
But having the protein shake gives you lots of quality protein without all of the eating.
That's about 150+ grams of protein in the meals above.

this has been some pretty cute reading from some fairly inexperienced sounding people. LOL a few of them sound like they might really train right.
proper nutrition is key though, like they mentioned. as for training, just get on some sites and do some reading, and try whichever routines you feel work best for you.
its hard to go by Ronnie Coleman's routine, or Dorians, being that they are genetic freaks to start with, and cycle massive amounts of HGH and steroids during the off season. anything works well when you are stabbing copius amounts of the good **** ! LOL
its a time consuming, lifestyle type of thing to have a great physique. just get the proper nutrition in, train every muscle ONCE weekly, and try to get around 8 hours of sleep. you will be fine
good luck
