Default brand new power stroke sucks!

My Brother in law just showed up in a brand new Power stroke work truck.. WOW I am very unimpressed with those. I think the wifes stock yukon would blow its doors off.

lets put 15K lbs behind that tahoe and see if it moves there hoss. Don't forget that stroke is probably 2000 to 3000 lbs heavier then your hoe. I really doubt that a stock tahoe would "smoke" a new powerstroke. You also have to remember it takes almost 10K miles to break in a diesel motor. Don't foget his resale will be at least 20% better then a tahoe (talk about a resale nightmare, superdutys have awsome resale even at 200K miles) you are comparing apples to oranges. Your tahoe is for mall rats, the stroke is for people who actually use their vehicle.

My powerstroke work truck tips the scales at right around 15K (F450) and I can say for sure that even at that wieght it pulls good all things considered. Empty it doesnt seem to run much faster then it does at full wieght, it likes the load. Its slow on the bottom until the turbo spools then it pulls very good.

It's no cummins. But hook a trailer to it and see how much it slows down..

One is meant to haul 7 y/o kids to school and soccer games. The other is meant to spit flames out of the exhaust and pull heavy stuff

I have ridden in a new Powerstroke, and it is definitely nothing like the 7.3 or any Cummins or DMAX, but they aren't meant to go fast, they are meant to hook a trailer to and tow it across country. I think the whole, "The turbocharger has a turbocharger..." -Ford Motor Company, is pointless though.

I read that a stock LMM damx ran 15.2X four times in a row.
