Default boy has this been a shitty morning

First off, i wake up a little late this morning, so i rush out the door and stop by whataburger... order my food and pull up. Im digging through my wallet to get out some cash and i hear a something go CRUNCH. I look up and see a brand new equinox with paper plates unusually close to the front of my truck i had a brain fart and forgot to put it in park before letting off the brake i get to work, realizing i left my lunch at home(cant leave work to eat), forgot my belt(pants are too big) and got chewed out by my supervisor because the lab ran the wrong sample and blew their sample machine up....

So hows everyone elses' morning goin?

Heres the real shitty part. Hitting the equinox pushed my bumper in on the passenger side enough to rub the tire pretty bad on a slight right hand turn. Its gonna cost me an insurance claim and a $500 deductible to fix the equinox, i cant leave for lunch, and i dont get off work til 6pm...

Oh yeah i almost forgot i was supposed to buy a new dirtbike monday, but the deductible is coming out of those funds

Well at least monday won't be the shittiest day of the week! Funny you mention the belt, that also really grinds my gears when I can't walk 6 feet without looking like an urban youth

But jokes aside, I feel for you.

I'm more or less bedridden this morning from a herniated disc in my back. Course I have a lot of work to do right about now too...

i dont think you have to pay a deductable if you only repair the equinox...that's the liability part of your insurance. the deductable is to repair YOUR truck. i'm sure you can replace the front bumper for less than 500$. call your insurance company to verify but i THINK that's how it works.
