Bought myself a new toy. . . watch out bambi

Well I finally bought a new bow. I have always been a hoyt guy, but the new mathews is just way too smooth to pass up. If you are a bow hunter and you haven't shot this bow, you should try it out. I have been shooting about every day for the last month, I love it. I have a G5 sight and quiver. Shooting 100 grain G5 T3 expandable broadheads with 5575 Gold Tips. Trophy Ridge Wisker biscuit. The bow Chronos at at 293, not bad for a hunting set up. Let me know what yall think.

Beautiful bow. Mathews makes some top notch bows, but I am all about symmetrical, love dual cam bows.. I shoot bowtech, but you have nice kickass set up there.. While the wisker bisk is a nice, fail safe set up, that is accurate as hell. I have noticed that over time it does tear up the vanes on the arrows. If you have that problem, ( Iknow Iknow) check out the bowtech hostage, it uses the same idea, only the wiskers never touch the vanes, just the arrow..

Jas, my bro bought a new Matthews a few yrs. ago. I wouldn't know which one w/o goin over there or askin him. He prolly forgot, since he hasn't hunted in several yrs. now. I know Matthews is quality, & while he may or may not have the top-of-the-line, when he told me how much, I was shocked. Quality isn't cheap, that's for sure. Have fun!

Good looking bow! I've thought about selling trykon and getting a newer faster hunting bow that way I don't have to scratch up my 82nd airborne. But all my money is going to my truck now, thanks to this site

How did your hostage tear up the fletching?? Mine never touches them at all.. A drop away is nice, but I hate the fact that set up, the serving system, have to be right on, timing has to stay dead on.. No doubt when they work they work, but just to involved for myself..

The hostage didn't tear up my vanes at all, but as far as the rests themselves; hostage vs the biscuit. . . the biscuit lasted longer. The bristles tore up on the hostage quicker. I liked the hostage, but just decided against it.
I agree with you on the drop away. They work really well, but it would be my luck that it would fail when a monster walks in on me. haha
