So I've come to the conclusion that owning a home and not being able to live in it is like having a fast car in a traffic jam. Quite annoying.
I bought a house about two weeks ago and I'm remodeling almost everything. You name it, this house needs it. Well, the kitchen cabinets are great, but everything else is lacking. Orange carpet, horrible linoleum, popcorn ceilings, etc etc etc. The house is structurally sound, its just friggin ugly. However, it has a lot of potential. Its a 3/2 with a 1/4 acre lot on a cul de sac. Around here that's pretty good. I just can't wait to get it to where I can live in it.

There is a ton to remodel. Every room needs work. Some are much more extensive that others. I completely gutted the master bathroom today. All the way down to the studs. Gonna move all the plumbing, rewire a few outlets, build a shower, new drywall, new flooring, etc.
I'll put up pictures when the house starts to come together a little better. It looks like a crack house now.
