I would just send a email to justin@blackbearperformance.com

He is good at getting back to you in a reasonable amount of time. Great company to deal with also. Below is his web link.

I sent the email to Jenna, but I think she just forwarded the request to Justin.

BTW, getting that pulley off the alternator is going to be a bitch! I just got a 145 amp alt from a salvage yard, got it home and realized that the pulley has some slight damage. I thought I would just take the pulley off my 105 amp alt and stick it on there but I coudn't get the darn thing off. I didn't have an angled 24mm wrench though. So I just went and got a diff. 145 amp from the yard. Came out of an 03 van and interestingly it had a much beefier red power wire running to it than our stock one. Might be a nice upgrade to get one of those OEM beefier wires.

I also wondered about sticking one of those blackbear pullies on my 145 amp alt. Wonder how much it would boost amperage and also since it's smaller it would probably eliminate the need for a longer serpentine belt (145 amp alt sits a little high and has a 93" belt versus 92.3" for the 105)

No it is not... Just use a air gun and hold the pulley with a glove or rag it will break right loose. That's how I got mine changed it took all of 10-15 minutes to change.

Having air tools at one's disposal is not a luxury I am afforded!

How much smaller is the blackbear pulley? It's ok to overspin the alternator a bit but I'd be cautious of over spinning the bearings in the alternator. Maybe 7K rpm's was fine with the stock pulley, but if the overdrive is too crazy, it could be like spinning it to 8500RPM's under WOT. I could be exagerating but I'm just trying to give you some food for thought. What's the percentage of overdrive?

Or is this an overdrive pulley from an underdrive set?
