You get what you pay for 80% of the time. Sometimes you get junk for a high price. But that's what product research is all about.

I drive like a bat out of hell 100% of the time. Before I bought my V1 I got at least a ticket a year. I haven't got one ticket in 3 and half years. I promise you, it's not because I obey the speed limit.

I bought one of those $50 cobra ones at circuit city and for me it is a real good radar... it has saved my *** plenty of times.... I have never had one of the expensive ones so I cant compare them... I do trust it alot though...

I don't even use one anymore. I got caught by some bike cop in Webster about a year ago. My cobra didn't even pick up the laser but most don't real well from what I have read.

If they hit oyu with laser you are screwed no matter what. Laser is EXTREMELY hard to detect and NONE of the radar detectors on the market are good enough to save ur ***. Like I said before the passport 8500 series is the best on the market IMO and has the numbers to back it up in sales.

The only good thing about laser is in order for them to get an acurate reading they have to hit you either directly in front or behind. Thus they will be right on the road and easy to see. They can nail you at night easily though. This here is the best site i've found. This is a retired cop that uses all his cop buddies to help him test them all.

yeh that guy has the same laser blockers as I do. He's pretty cool, found him like a year ago. good research.

NO detector will save you from being picked up by laser! It is instant! Trigger on and off. Jam it baby! Works long enough to slow down in time.

So the laser blockers actually work? Thought it was bs till now. Have you actually gotten hit by laser and not gotten a ticket while speeding? What model do you have also?
