I've had auto start for years but since I started modding my truck everytime I engage my auto start REP mode pops up. Does anyone have any input or has this happend to anyone?

However I know this has been addressed and I don't want to look for it since I REALLY need to go to bed. Try a search in the GM section for Remote start or something. REP mode might bring something up.
Pretty sure theres a few threads listed with a fix.

 

Ir probably has something to do with the way it was wired. For example I have seen where guys wire their remote start and us the transmission power wire, which causes a limp mode condition for the trans. Try this use your remote start like you normally would. Before turning the key forward kill the engine by pushing on the brake pedal. Then start the truck the way you would normally and see if that helps. Vince
