Default Ask not what GM can do for you...

What if we all bought GM shares as a show of support and financial backing. It could only help and if they pull out we might make a little money. If every Tech member bought 20 shares, think what an impact and what a statement it would make. In short, quit telling me how great your LSX is, and DO something for the company who brought it to you!!!

Me and my boss had talked about this a few months back while reading the paper. Shares then were only $3. He thought if you bought say $50-$100 in GM share, its possible that in 10-15 years when/if GM survived it would be worth much more. If GM didnt make it or shares didnt come up, you were only out $50-$100.

GM closed at 1.49 a share on Friday, down .45 on the day... It wouldn't make a hill of beans to GM how much we bought, cuz you wouldn't be buying it from GM, you would be buying it from some who is selling theirs. Potential to make a lot of money though, if GM pulls though this and becomes profitable again. I've been thinking of buying some, just cuz its so cheap, almost worth the gamble...

I agree with ya KB.... I like the idea. I'm going to throw it past my F.C. and see what he says... I'm really liking the idea of getting a lot of the Tech Members involved.
