Anybody tune with a tablet?
After several years of constant use, my little Asus netbook is starting to show some age.
Unfortunately they don't even make these things any more because the market has been overrun by tablets. I don't mind changing it up, but one thing I won't give up is battery life. This little bastard has given me 12 hours of battery life every day for 3.5 years now. Also would like to keep the screen small and portable, so I'm thinking tablet might be the way to go. Anybody have a tablet PC that they do their tuning on? I am interested in how using a touch screen exclusively might affect tuning. Pros/cons, easier/harder?
And I don't want to hear anything from Richard. He prefers his laptop screens about the size of a pool table and is probably what makes him so slow in the 1/4

I was looking into one of the Microsoft Surface tablets with the full blown edition of windows 8 on it but never pulled the trigger. I have a dell mini like mentioned above with HP tuners loaded on it but I just couldn't get use to it. The resolution is to low on them to really make all the windows you want to see work IMO.
I just use my Dell XPS 15" right now and the screen is great but do with the battery would last a little longer. I can get 3 hrs of consistent use right now and wish it would last longer. I usually have a power inverter to charge it while I am not logging.
I really think the Microsoft Surface tablet would be a slick setup, just not the cheapest tablet out there.
