Ouch! I've owned all of the big 3. My '90 Stang LX 5.0 5 spd. had only 1 or 2 problems in the 4 yrs I owned it. At times, wanted to stall when I'd come to a stop w/. A/C on (Max. cool IIRC).
3rd gear was kinda funny & u could miss it, but once I threw a Hurst shifter in, it went smoothly into 3rd. So, I fixed that; it was more a shortcoming tho.

Lastly, after I put a set of new tires on it, it was permanently borrowed from me. :nunchuk1: That was my biggest problem I ever had w/. it. But that wasn't Ford's fault, it was the fault of the "Hood".
